I know you've all been waiting patiently for me to post pictures, so here it is. These were taken before I had my stuff moved in (but to be honest, it doesn't look much fuller with my furniture here :)
And, it's so nice to finally get to sleep in my very own bed. It's been nearly two months. Though it was more of sleeping on my own mattress rather than in my own bed. I didn't get any bedding on it until this morning. Though it wasn't that bad considering it is SOOOO hot here. The little temperature gauge out my kitchen (on the north side of the house) read 95 degrees and that's with some wicked humidity - 50% during the day 80%+ overnight. Definitely not what I'm used to! (by the way - I tossed that "wicked" in there just for everyone who told me I'd use it once I got to the East coast). But at least my bedroom has A/C and a ceiling fan which did a great job of keeping me cool last night.
Today is supposed to be even hotter and I'm just trying to stay as cool as possible while still unpacking everything. Step one was to get my bed together and that's done now. Up next is to get my kitchen together. I unpacked most of the boxes and now everything is on the counter, so it's time to figure out where things will go. (And once that's done, I think I might have to put my ice cream maker to some good use).
Hailey's trying to handle the heat and seems to be doing okay - though she really just wants to be outside (there's a small dirt patch on the side of the house that is apparently the cool place to be). She seems spooked by the basement (so am I) so she won't hang out there.
Okay, my break time is over. Time to get back to unpacking because the sooner I can do that, the sooner I can get back to exploring :)

Reed your house is gorgeous!!! If it makes you feel better it's supposed to be in the 90s again here tomorrow!
This place looks great. I think the universe had this one right for you.
We just got back from camping at Mt. Rainier. Wanted to get out of the heat of Seattle but it was still pretty hot up there. Regardless, it was sunny & blue sky the whole time. But alas, we are back in town and it is gray and drizzling. Figures.
Opps, forgot to sign that last comment, even though you know who it is :)
